Personal
Why I created this site
A place to bring my work, interests, and practical engineering notes together and to keep a record of what I learn.
I created this site to have one place for the things I make and the things I learn.
Since 2018, I’ve worked on dashboards, REST APIs, and web scrapers. I’ve also spent plenty of time figuring out the small details that come with building software: why something behaves differently than expected, which approach is simpler, and what I’ll want to remember the next time I meet the same problem. I wanted somewhere to keep those notes instead of leaving them scattered across drafts, projects, and browser tabs.
This site is also a home for my engineering blog, tech.raturi.in, and the projects and ideas I want to share. I like having that work alongside a little more about who I am: a software engineer from India, a Raspberry Pi tinkerer, and someone who enjoys mountain trails and philosophy.
I’m not trying to publish for the sake of filling a calendar. I’d rather write when I have something useful or meaningful to say, in a way that would make sense to me when I come back to it later.
Mostly, this is a note to my future self. If something here saves you an hour of debugging or gives you a useful starting point, I’m glad you found it.
